Requirements
Participation
Each participating team will be evaluated by Shiftkey (SK) for their commitment and active involvement throughout the hackathon. This assessment ensures that all participants are fully engaged and contribute significantly to their team's efforts.
Round 1: Brainstorming + Literature Review
The first round kicks off with brainstorming sessions where teams ideate and conceptualize their projects. Participants are also required to conduct a thorough literature review to underpin their ideas with existing research, ensuring a solid foundation for their innovations.
Round 2: Low Fidelity + User Survey Analysis
In the second round, teams develop low-fidelity prototypes of their ideas. This stage is crucial for initial testing and getting early feedback. Teams will also conduct user surveys to gather insights and analyze the potential impact and usability of their prototypes.
Round 3: High Fidelity Prototype
Moving into the third round, participants will refine their ideas into high-fidelity prototypes. This stage demands a higher level of detail and closer consideration of the user experience, preparing the projects for real-world application.
Round 4: Final Pitch
The fourth and final round is the culmination of the teams' hard work. Participants will present their polished prototypes and pitch their ideas to a panel of judges. This round is not just about the technical aspects but also about how effectively teams communicate their vision and the potential impact of their projects.
Peer Review
An integral part of the hackathon is the peer review process. Participants will have the opportunity to evaluate and provide feedback on other teams' projects. This collaborative approach fosters a community of learning and mutual growth.
Peer Review Evaluation
Shiftkey Labs will analyze the peer reviews, offering an additional layer of assessment and ensuring a fair and comprehensive evaluation process.
